The Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has developed an environmental guide for foreigners coming to Minsk for the 2nd European Games, Deputy Chair of the Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Tatiana Dubik told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“We decided to step in and developed environmental guides in Russian and English in the run-up to the 2nd European Games. These guides feature four conservation areas and ecotrails located within the city. We have a lot to show to tourists,” Tatiana Dubik said.
Apart from general information and photos, the Minsk Eco-Travel Guide provides directions to the places featured there. The Minsk City Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection is now in talks with the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee and local authorities on the distribution of these guides.
Over 1,000 copies have been printed already. The circulation is likely to increase.
